The stock drain plug is 14mm X 1.5 pitch. A Heli-coil is a better choice than the Time-Sert as less material has to be drilled out. I also found that a proper size Fiber gasket will make a better seal than the copper. Particularly since the plug may not be perfectly straight after any thread insert.
