To get more snow traction on my 90 GL (non-synchro) I am going to try to install a locking rear differential. The guys at German Transaxle in Bend, Oregon say they can do this with a synchro case and lock mechanism. The other internals will be the same as the non-synchro so the van remains a 4 speed. This should be an interesting project, but I need the dash mounted switch, vacuum tubing, and the transaxle mounted vacuum canister from the a synchro to do it. Any sellers? Mike Karseboom Mt.
