Mice will shy away from your van if you set several bowls of ammonia insde on the floor and close all the windows. This of course is only if the van is not being used. The fumes from the ammonia have the same effect on rodents as people and they would rather not stay. Check the bowls often to make sure the ammonia hasn't evaporated. completely. This fix also works if you have had a visitor that shall we say - expired before checking out. It will remove the odor of the dearly departed as well as cigarette smoke, old socks, that fogotten onion in the fridge, etc. When your ready to hit the road again, remove the bowls and air our for about an hour. The ammonia smell will be gone. Wendy & John Cape Cod, MA '85 Westy, "S-CAPE" |
