Don't pull--just push on it gently (at the bottom, by the floor). It's some sort of spring type mechanism and when you put it down, same thing--push gently till it engages--don't jam it hard or slam it. Knock on wood, but mine's never been stuck, so I've had no reason to investigate how it's put together. Donna, 1987 Wolfsburg >>> Yann Buchanan <ynb@ATT.NET> 11/4/1999 10:29:21 AM >>> My folding table has been stuck in the down position since I bought the van just under a year ago. Bumping and light pulling is to no avail. Anyone know how to fix this or even just tell me what kind of mechanism I'm fighting? Also, my rear hatch lock seems to be sticky. When unlocking I can hear the central locking system engage it, but it does not unlock. Pushing the lock in and out a few times will usually release it, but it seems to be getting worse. Any help appreciated. thanks yann buchanan ynb@att.net 87' wolfsweekender |
