Hi there, I have an '85 Vanagon 1.9L 4 speed, and when driving hard corners or curves, a knocking sound comes from the inside rear wheel (only on the driver's side). I suppose it might be one of the CV joints. It is extremely hard to figure out exactly where the noise is coming from, since it only happens when driving 15-25mph hard turns. Has anyone had this problem? The knocking dissapears when straightening out. Please let me know what you think. Thanks Marko, Hamilton, Ma 85 Vanagon GL 83 Westy |
