Just to clarify and remind on this issue, we ask you to allow 7-10 working days for standard delivery on in-stock items (sometimes longer in the event of backorders, of course). This is a conservative estimate and usually you'll get your order much sooner. But we need to allow for the minor unforseen delays that are part of everyday life in the real world, so we try to estimate on the high side. However, emergency orders can usually be accommodated, assuming availability of the part. We ship overnight-air orders everyday to customers whose vans broke down and need a part yesterday. Best way to handle a rush situation is to CALL US, since then we can get to work on your order right away rather than waiting for the next download from the website (which can be later that day or even the following business day). Of course, as always, if you absolutely positively need a part by a certain time and can't afford to take any chances, your best bet is to patronize your local VW dealer or FLAPS. Even with overnight delivery there is the potential for lost or late deliveries, etc., so mail order is never a 100% sure thing even in the best of circumstances.
