Is the part wrong, the part number wrong, or is the description incorrect? Several people on the list have provided me with part numbers for the HP sender.

High pressure sender near oil pump Part #: 068-919-081 A Is it 0.9, 1.4 or 1.8 bar?)

Also.. 1.8 bar one electrical pole(white)for engines DF, DG, DJ, MV, SP, and SR Part #: 056 919 081 E (or is it 1.4 , 1.8 or 0.9 bar?)

In the Engine Lubrication system section (17.7) the Bentley lists 0.3 bar(4.4 psi) for the (low) pressure sender on the head and 0.9 Bar (13 psi) for the (high) pressure sender near the oil pump. No mention of a 1.4 bar sender.

Consulting the schematics in my Bentley it shows: Year LP(NC) HP(NO) 83/4/5 1.8 N/A 86 0.3 1.8 87 0.3 0.9 88/9 0.3 1.8/0.9

This is pretty confusing. Anyone have the straight skinny on the senders and corresponding part numbers?

I guess it's time to install that oil gauge! I installed the new style dash with the dynamic oil pressure system. The system apparently monitors the low pressure sender below 2000 RPM and the high pressure sender above 2000 RPM. Without the high pressure sender installed, the system apparently will not provide low oil pressure warning above 2000 rpm.
