Regarding the E-mail from Harald Rust. I followed up on his information on the Sure Power Isolators and at their site http://www.surepwr.com/index.html is a lot of very good information that would be of interest to anyone thinking of adding a second battery. On their site under Featured Areas / Electronic Brochures the very last brochure under miscellaneous is titled "Introduction To Batteries and Charging Systems" and should be a must read for anyone doing his own setup. Also under "Needing Help?" the article "Selecting A Battery Isolator" has the exact setup that Harald described (pg 4 of 4) and is for the Volkswagen Vanagon. How about more reading and in some cases less bantering. Peace!
