The only thing I can think of other than the tiny tube of the real deal factory monkey snot that the dealers are so proud of is a sealant called HyLoMar. It cannot be found just everywhere but some better stocked FLAPS might have it. Check also at places cattering to English cars. It is called for in the English workshop manuals for cooling system applications.

I is not a cheap sealant either. It might work. It does have some of the characteristics you would want for this application. I hope you'll let us know how your experiment goes if you use it. If it was as good as or better than the factory stuff, they would have used it rather then develop their very spezialized compond for this particular application.

And did you notice in your Bentley that you cannot use a common "clicker" type torque wrench?? A beam type wrench is required for accurate torquing of the head nuts on this particular design.
