Subject: 86 WESTY PARTS Will Be FS
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hi all,

I posted a question about installing a westy top on my '82 V'gon and want to thank everyone for their responses.

My dumb luck has led me to an '86 Westy at a body shop with the engine and transmission sitting in the passenger compartment and all the glass removed. Everything else is in excellent condition (has been covered w/ plastic tarps. I plan on pulling the top, the rear seat bed and two front seats and haven't decided if I want to get into cutting holes and installing LP system and fridge etc.

All of the other parts will be "up for grabs" for not much more than it will cost me to ship them to you. I am doing this more as a service to fellow Vanagon owners than to make $$$. Keep your scanners peeled if you need some of those small but ridiculously expensive trinkets or parts. I will post a note to the list when I go over the van and if interested, you can p-mail me for the complete list of parts I will make. If you want to inquire about specific parts now, you can do so, but the van won't be towed to my place until Sat afternoon.

Thanks, Stefan Weir WEIRSTEF@cs.com
