My van has been doing the same. I know it's not a CV, as I just replaced both my shafts. ($150 ea(Cdn)/from Canadian Tire). I've been trying to isolate the same problem. I almost suspect a wheel bearing, but they usually hum before they get that bad. I will take Ken's suggestion and checkout my shocks.
