Subject: Ideas about 90amp Alt for Diesel Van
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I had a customer call me today about putting a 90 amp alternator on his 83 diesel Vanagon. I don't see a problem with doing this (stock alternator is 65 amps) and I am going to take a look at several 90 amp alternators that I have on hand to see if I can come up with one that will fit properly and work. Has anyone else out there tried this upgrade? Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Thanks, Ken Wilford http://www.vanagain.com John 3:16 Office (856)-765-1583 Shop (856)-327-0027 Fax (856)-327-2242
