Thanks to some wonderful list advice, I replaced my ignition switch this weekend (also thanks to an overnight package from Vanagain). While I was futzing about I switched some long overdue spark-plugs, the distributor cap and rotor. Oh what a difference. She fired right up the first time (which wasn't happening at all pre-new ignition) and ran much smoother than she has in quite a while. Oh, iz so nice. I think I'm going to replace the shocks this weekend. Unfortunately, following a string of 5 break-ins over a 13 month period (I love NYC) I no longer have a jack (or jumper cables, or emergency tools, or a CD-changer, or a CB...). I'd rather not drop $50 (PepBoys) on a new one, but I don't see what else I can really do. Anyway, thanks for the advice. It made a huge difference.
