Alistair, Greetings, I discovered this self vulcaninzing wonder tape, when I bought a sailboat this summer. Marine supply folks call it "rigging tape" Mine was white, about $17. If your at UVIC, try calling the Oak Bay Marina supply store for a local source, or else the Sailors Exchange in Sidney. Sincerely, Mark Keller 91 Carat "Lazarus" > > Lee Valley Tools sells a kind of self vulcanizing tape called "high friction > silicone tape (23K30.01)".
