I was looking for a nice streaming OTR site last night and I came across http://www.live365.com. This site allows you to create a 24-7 internet radio station that you can either do once and let it loop or update as you want. My idea was for a Vanagon Q & A radio station. Here is how it would work. I would setup a phone number with a voice mail box (already have one), and if folks had questions about thier vans they could call in and leave the question on the voice mail. Then, once a week, I (or whoever else was interested) could answer the questions and then put the whole thing onto the streaming radio station. I would loop it and then you could listen to the Q & A (kinda like click and clack on NPR) whenever you wanted to. We could also use it to annouce or remind folks of List get togethers, and shows, etc. So, does anyone else want to help with this idea? I would probably need to buy some more equipment for recording the streams unless someone else already has this setup and would be willing to record it for me if I just sent them the tapes.
