I'm sure all of you know this already, but I just had a set of 4 Mich MXT 205s installed on my 87 Westy, and I can NOT begin to tell you the difference in handling.

My old tires were fine, but they were NOT reinforced, and my van used to sway like a sapling when any hint of a cross wind showed it's windy face.

With the new tires, the ride is quieter, more stable, tighter in the turns, and the crosswind effect is minimal.

A MUCH IMPROVED RIDE.

If you are waiting to upgrade your tires for whatever reason, don't wait, just do it. Get the MXTs while you still can. The new tires will make you drive your Westy with as much "PERMA-GRIN" as the day you first picked it up. Worth every cent. Trust me. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You tell us what your new tires are, but not what your old tires were. Then you proceed to make a comparison and then suggest we will get the same improvement. This does not make sense to me.
