I just finished installing a VDO oil pressure gauge. I haven't driven it a
lot, but the oil pressure range seems to vary from 20 to 60 psi.... 60 psi
when cold and rpms about 3,000 and 20 psi when at warm idle, say 1100 rpm.

Does this sound normal for a 90 Westy Syncro with about 85,000 on the
engine?
With all the talk of the low oil pressure light coming on at 4 psi I
expected this engine to have lower oil pressure and I'm wondering if the
gauge is accurate.
