Volks, Looks like we'll be selling the 87 GL. Van is in the Clear Lake area of Houston, here are the specifics: 1987 GL, Blue, 105K, A/C, Auto: Wifes Daily Driver. $4K OBO

General: Paint is original and is holding up OK, color is Pacific Blue. There is NO rust on the van. Exterior has a few whiskey dings, nothing major. Interior is good to excellent. Stereo needs help, cassette blown out, radio works. Has been garaged since we purchased it. A/C blows ice cubes, has leaked no R-12 for over 3 years since 1 lb was added immediately after purchase. Engine is excellent. 105K miles. I have used only Royal Purple Synthetic lube in crankcase, auto tranny, and differential. Tires OK, half way down on tread. Repairs: new radiator 1996 when I purchased it, new brakes/rotors 12 mos ago, new waterpump 10 mos ago. New Throttle Position Switch 20 K miles ago. Major Tune last summer (cap/rotor/Bosch wires). 5yr/50K Prestone and distilled put in 18 mos. ago. I have all reciepts. We have had this Vanagon for 3 years and now 30K miles and it has been the most dependable vehicle we have ever had. It is presently my wife's daily driver as it has been for three years. We are parting with it for a 90 Carat has become part of our family. I really don't want to sell it, but I can't keep as many Vanagons around as I used to could. I once had 3 Vanagons and 1 child, now I have 3 children and we try to keep it to one Vanagon!
