Hi Thomas:

I just fixed a squeak in the steering wheel - it was the main steering shaft rubbing a hole in the tape wrapped around it, which then rubbed on the little boot at the floor where it goes under the car. Couldn't find the same kind of tape, so I shot some McLube 1725L spray onto it and the noise went away. This stuff has teflon in it and is hard to find. We use it for lubricating the key pins in organ and piano keyboards - works reel guuuud! Also, the horn contact will squeak if not greased - clean the track with anything, then put a light dab of grease on the running area. You can do this without pulling the wheel, but it's harder, tho.
