Here's the deal.

If you scan all the pages from the catalog into Adobe Acrobat, (version 5.0), Adobe will convert all of the text and numbers on each page into real text and numbers. With this done, you can then have a searchable catalog in Adobe. Lay this off to a CD and all you need is Acrobat reader. You still won't have the VW part numbers. but you can print out the page and take this to the dealer.

Scan all the copies from all the catalogs, and you have a very high demand item.

Of course you will need to get permission from VW to do this.

There isn't much to search for in the illustrations, but there is an index in the front of the catalog that describes what is on that panel, and what model and country it refers to.
