Unless you have a Syncro there are no CV joints in the front, only in
the rear.  Vibration in the front you describe sounds like a front wheel
bearing.


Get the KYB shocks from the Bus Depot along with the Haynes manual which
will show you how to replace the ignition switch (you will need a
puller).  Get the switch from the dealer, about $14.


Find an honest under car shop to do the work if you don't want to do it
yourself.  See my earlier post today on PEP Boys and ball joints.
