I ended up being the guy that filled the water trucks. They would water the roadbed while it was being packed. I had to start the pump that filled the trucks. It had an electric starter. The drivers handled the hoses. I also had to make a mark on the clip board for each water load. The water was coming out of a stocked catfish lake. I sat in my lawn chair and fished all day. Wonderful job. Does anyone have a job like this for an old retiree? I will take it.

Bill
