As well, the lion's share for the needs of maintenance and repairs comes from the trucking industry. The fees and taxes of commercial use is also paid for by us end users in the form of passing on these costs in the price of the goods delivered. The original specifications and design criteria for the highway and costs to construct them must consider the heaviest allowable loads. We all benefit by commerce. If we didn't, we would not in the majority, of our own free will and accord, pay the taxes required. This is the difference between tribal culture and civilization. Shared mutual benefits beyond our local region is a portion of the definition of a Country as opposed to separate States.
