True with the Vanagon BUT the passat rims steel is thinner than the Vanagons steel rim (I am talking about the thickness on the metal and is the metal the same durability as the Vanagons steel??). I do not know, I am NOT a machinist, SO I do not want to take a chance on a rim that "might" work. It might fit BUT are you willing to risk your life on it?? I am not, that is why I am listening to the expert with experience...
