was at the audi dealer picking up some parts for my daily driver  (yea, you
heard right!  ;<) and  stopped over to look at the spare on the A8's.
there were 2 different wheels offered for the A8.  the 16" painted alloys,
and the 17" polished alloys.
they didnt have any A8 w/ 16"s in stock, just 17"s.
so i told the salesman i was interested in the A8 (its in my budget, ya know)
so he popped the trunk, and i had a look at the spare.
Its a full size spare, 17" steel, with a 35mm offset. same lug pattern as
vanagon (obviously)
seems like it would be a better offset to have than one from a 5KT (45mm)
