This is something I forgot to include with the original post - thanks for bringing it up. Yes, you do need to change the light connectors. I have the H4 light connectors here for $10 CAD for the pair with about 6" of wire included with each connector. I will throw in some "heat shrink" tubing to make a water tight connection as well.
