Many motorcycles here drive with the high beam on all the time in the day, to become more visible. On the other hand, not so many are out in the winter, when the sun is low and the need for DRLs are the most.

And for those that still don't see the need, picture this: The sun is so low in the sky, its lower than the sun visor hanging right in front of you, the time of day is just after 4 in the afternoon and rush hour is at it's peak. THEN you see the need for having the lights on at daytime, its impossible to see cars without lights on at this situation. I experience this every day these days, it makes you bless the clouds.
