Subject: 85 Westy for sale
Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I've finally admitted to myself that I don't have time to maintain my Westy, and even if I did, I won't have time to camp much until I finish grad school.

I bought it in June of '98 from the original owners. I replaced the entire exhaust system and a couple of AC hoses.

The engine developed a slight head leak last spring, and I let a mechanic talk me into putting some sort of stop leak in it. The leak quit, but it has wanted to run hot since then, and it finally popped the expansion tank a few weeks ago. I have another tank, and I'm changing the radiator for one from a parts car. I will have it together and running before I sell.

The car is in good condition overall. Runs smooth and strong. Body is mostly straight, no rust, power steering, cold AC. Contact me for details. Camper stuff works fine, but I took the propane tank off to paint it and change the fill valve.

I'm pricing it to sell at $3,000. This is a firm price. If I cannot get that much, I'll just keep it until spring. Located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
