To the best of my recollection, the explosion which sent the coolant prices into the stratosphere was in Henderson, NV. It was apparently quite a fire. I do recall that, at least at the time, there were only two manufacturers of coolant in the US. The Bhopal event was a fair amount earlier, and may have had similar results.
