Glad to hear that it all went well. I have replaced two masters (different vans) and one slave cylinder and they all failed during the winter. The bad condition of your master cyl makes me guess that you will be replacing the slave soon - did you see any fluid leaking out of the rubber boot? Did you pry/squeeze it? The slave cyl replacement is abit more of a bear than the master, one of the mounting bolts is in an awkward spot. Tips about bleeding the clutch system: if you are unable to remove all of the air in the regular fashion, ie. bleeding out through nipple on slave cyl, try pressure bleeding backwards, up through the resevoir. Or try the lazy mans method, cracking the nipple a bit and let the fluid drain out slowly by itself (tubing from nipple to container, and topping up the resevoir occasionally)
