I recently purchased a 1982 Westy Diesel. This is my first Westfalia and I know little about the overall operation of the components of the van (learning more as I read this list though!!). The van was imported from Germany by the original owner. The van is German spec 220v. All the manuals, warning plates etc are in German! I noticed that the fridge and plugins are all 220v, there is thankfully a small briefcase size invertor for 110v power. Is there a way to eliminate this invertor and go to just 110v? I would have to swap the plugins etc, but what else? Thanks in advance for the info, Gord 82 Wesy with the "smoke screen" option ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com |
