Generally, you can ship a propane container if it has been purged of propane and filled with an inert gas (usually nitrogen). You'll have to provide the receipt showing that it was purged and the shop that does it will place a tag on the tank stating that it was purged. It costs a little more to get the nitrogen fill than the propane, but not all shops do it so call around. Mikey
