One member explained his Vanagon was running rich at idle but OK at speed based on his failed smog test. Another member suggested this could be caused by leaking injector seals. My 1.9L Digijet Vangon is running rich also. My injector seals look like crap. How could bad seals cause the van to run rich? This would be an easy fix. Any other suggestions? My temperature sensors appear to be working fine based on identical 4kohm readings for T2 and the air temp sensor with a cold engine. The aux air valve is working fine. I am still learning how to evaluate the other circuits. My smog test is coming in March. I would like to be ready for it. Thanks for your help. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com |
