Hey Crew, Stupid question, but I have an 88 Weekender which I bought in early 99. It didn't come with the owners manual. The pictographs on the heater controls leave me clueless. They look to me like something about bacon and a water bed? By running the fans and sliding the controls back and forth, I can make the Van hot or make it cold, but am not positive on what the knobs are actually controlling. I am referring here to the 4 sliding knobs located on the dash controlling the heater. My best guess- Starting from the top knob: Top knob contols volume of air flow directed at the windshield and in dash mounted directional air vents. Second knob from top controls the temp of the air directed at the windshield and in dash mounted directional air vents. Third knob from top controls the temp of the air coming out of the rear heater located under rear bench seat Forth knob from the top (bottom knob) controls volume of air flow coming from the rear heater under bench seat. I am proud to say that I have the fan settings down cold! TIA, Mike Michael Hugill Ken Leiner Associates, Inc.
