Just wondering. Have any list members tried declaring their Westy as a Second Home and thus succeeded in writing off interest on the loan for the vehicle? From the research I've done, it sounds like the the "second home" has to be lived in for at least 14 days of the year (I'm sure many Westy owners do this) and it must have bathroom facilities. That last part is tricky - not sure it the IRS means washing facilities or an actual lavatory. I wonder if a porta potty would comply? ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it.
