I just had my light switch out the other day and right behind the light symbol is a recepticle for one of those tiny bulbs you just push in with no turning. However there was no bulb in it. The recepticle is in the part that remains attached to the vehicle after you separate the actual switch out and there is a channel through the light switch to right behind the symbol. It looks to me like the switch was meant to be illuminated. I'm waiting to get my hands on the proper bulb so I can test my theory. Jaymac, 87 Vanagon GL
