Whilst tightening the nut, there's a good chance at some point you'll be pulling the threaded stud out of the socket (it's a straight-shanked hex that has NO flanges to lock it in the plastic!). Solution - use a tiny hammer to tap the stud back up into the plastic socket (remove the nut & spring, put a nut back on the end so you don't bugger the threads), then 'eyeball' where you should drill a 1/8" hole clean thru the plastic socket AND the stud (best done w/ a drill press & vice). Then tap in a 1/8" dowel pin, preferably SST, & you're done forever (10 yrs+ so far on Moby's!)
