I posted this question about a week back. Got one reply asking me what I had obiovously stated was the case in the question . Lets try again! Is there anyone on this list who actually has working knowledge of Automatic transaxles and the Vanagon trans axle in particular? If so ,has anyone ever had a problem with tranny fluid backing up out of the filler tube. The vehicle is an 1985 Vanagon Westy . Fluid levels are correct, being checked at operating temperature with the engine running. Fluid and filter screen have been changed. This problem happened before the change and still happens. Only need to drive a small distance to make it happen. Anyone have any idea what is going on? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks! Tom Czerniak
