I never had problems in mine. Always had heat fairly quick with the
exception to sub zero temps, then it took a mile or two of driving. That's a
large area inside the van to heat. Seems the driver and passenger front were
warm quick while those in the rear were colder. Anyway, that's the way my 85
was.
