Ron & all-

I love the sanctity of the Vanagon list; a discussion of our beloved VW's. I also love the discussion of ways to improve our roads/ground transportation. Like oil and coolant, they don't mix well.

Thus, there is a new place for ALL remaining thoughts about Interstates, Trucks, Eisenhower, Potholes, eminent domain, etc. Shortcut URL to this page: http://www.onelist.com/community/groundtransport

Cheers.

The Eisenhower interstate system requires that one mile in every five must be straight. These straight sections are usable as airstrips in times of war or other emergencies.

Flame on. Ron
