Good morning:

My '91 Carat is about to reach 100k miles and along with it is showing some wear. I would appreciate your comments and suggestions on what to be prepared for and specifically on the following:

1- Brakes fade when pressing the pedal firmly. It stops in reasonable distance, but I am uncomfortable with it. Replace master cylinder ?......

2- Power windows. They need assistance going up. ????

3- Temperature light blinks constantly, but temperature does not go up. This, even after flushing and filling the system. Sensor ????

4- Steering rack is leaking. A four-inch spot daily. Replace ? wait for bigger spot ?

5- Would like to have firmer ride. What shocks should I install ? It rides on Michelin MXTs 205/70 R14.

Thanks,

Felix '91 Carat
