Subject: Additional warning light for heated rear screen switch?

All this talk about warning lights got me thinking about one of the more annoying things about my 90 Vanagon dashboard, which is that the heated rear screen warning light is hidden from view behind the steering wheel; has anyone out there added an LED or something in a more visible place, like next to the High beam warning or something? If so, how did you go about it. TIA
