This is interesting. This is my web site, but I don't sell or rent campers. I'm located in the US, near St. Louis Missouri. I import parts and accessories for European campers. I don't think I'm "expensive" either.

I can offer a rental recommendation for Germany. Herting & Otter VW in Frankfurt. You can fax them at 49610967131, or call at 49610961071.

I recommend that you send a request in English by fax, which will give them time to translate it and reply. They only had one person there that spoke much English.
