Subject: Canadian Tire and Listees - saving money
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi Volks:

`Let me share with you how I saved $20.00 at Canadian Tire today - an great "lesson learned" IMHO. (Same place I bought my Bosch H4's for the Igloo)

I went there looking to buy the Coleman "BlackCat" propane catalyic heater, (SAFE for indoor use - if 6 cm^2 ventialtion provided, 3000 BTU).

....which I thought I have seen for about $45 on the shelf some time before.

I noticed it was now marked $79.00. Hmmm.

I approached a salesperson and asked -"Could you tell me if this heater was on sale recently?"

She referenced her computer, and said, "Yes Sir - one month ago this was priced at $59.00."

I said, "Is possible for me to get it now at that price?"

"CERTAINLY SIR", she said.

She wrote up a rain-check - and I saved $20.00, without really even trying.

They apparently have a policy of always selling goods currently in stock, at the last sale price.

TMOTS: It never hurts to ask, no matter what store you go to.
