100%.

Y'know, I've "met" list members I'd drive a few hundred miles out of my way
to meet in person.  I've also "met" a couple I wouldn't particularly cross
the street to have a coffee and donut with.

Funny thing is that if all we ever posted (as some would have us do) was how
to R&R a widget, or how to save $20 at Canadian Tire (Why isn't it Tyre?), I
would have no clue as to the personalities of the folks I've corresponded
with, and would have no desire whatsoever to meet them.
