Subject: Vanagon's to be collectibles????
Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I just went through my mail backlog from when I was honeymooning a few weeks back and found the following tidbit:

> To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > cc: > Client: > Subject: Re: Check out this Van ad! > > vw4x4@MAIL.FYI.NET wrote: > > > Man oh days..... Maybe our vanagons are > > going to be worth some money soon? I wonder > > why autoweek voted this "one of ten most desired > > collectibles in the coming years"?

Can anyone point me at the article or tell me a bit more?? I'd love to use this to quash a few skeptics who think I'm insane to drive and love my '84 Westy --- and if one more a**hole asks me if its painted in flowers and peace signs I may just go postal. (Or I may just paint the van with flowers and peace signs......Hmmmm)

Cheers, Doug '84 Westy Toronto, Canada
