Took a Negotiating course once and the motto was "Everything is
Negotiable".  When buying many things, asking about available discounts,
coupons, sales, rebates and special deals many times results in savings.
The class pointed out that even grocery stores will give requested
discounts if the packaging is damaged. My local Napa store has a great
discount for AAA members.


After some tough bargaining I even got a big discount in the membership fee
for signing onto this list!
