Subject: sliding (cargo) door bug net

Does anyone have experience with the sliding (cargo) door mosquito net sold by the Bus Depot? I have two questions:

(1) Can the sliding door be opened and closed without removing the net?

(2) How does the net attach to the van body? Are snaps held with screws like the curtain ties (I hope)? When I got the rear hatch net from Bus Depot, it came with some pop rivet mounting hardware and no instructions. Fortunately, my vanagon already had snaps in place, because I have no idea how to install those.

Thanks, Ken
