as far as i know it will work- even will work on bay windows back until at least 71 (so i hear never done this first hand)

Also anyone know of a source for the rearmounted swing-away spare tire carrier as seen in the Projektzwo calalog and other European articles? Projektzwo says it is a VW part. Is this something still made in Germany or S. Africa?
