Subject: Is Westy Home?: Westy tax write off?
Comments: To: "Fonman4277@AOL.COM" <Fonman4277@AOL.COM>

If you are really interested in my data on whether Westy can be called "home", you might check the archives. There was a discussion a year or so ago to determine whether you could have an open bottle (booze) in your van under the pretense that a Westy is a "house car". I think the determining factor was having toilet facilities, and a porta-potty didn't count.

I think the question one really needs to consider here is do you really want to flag yourself for an IRS tax audit by attempting this? I don't think the tax savings would be worth it. Jeff S.
